We are made up of a wedding planner, DJ, photographer, and catering/reception facility owners, so we have a lot of different areas of expertise. Chase The Veil talks this week about ways of being eco-friendly with your weddings. There are so many different ways of saving money, paper, and being able to use things that can make your wedding eco-friendly. So much of this just comes from being aware of what is available and how you can utilize your resources the best to fit your wedding day. How will you approach your day when it comes to being eco-friendly?
At what cost are bride and grooms trying to make their wedding day as unique as possible? Some trends are going to come and go, but there are also those trends that are just so far out there that it is more for the shock value than anything. There are two sides to every story, so of course these trends are usually in an effort to make the bride and groom happy. But sometimes it seems like it is just the chance to be the next YouTube wedding couple to be featured on Oprah for doing something that was so off the wall that nobody can believe that they would actually do that on their wedding day.
So in this episode…Crista, Jo Ann, Jennifer, and Mike will discuss everything from bridal diapers, Star Wars themed weddings, Wal-mart weddings, and lots of other wedding trends for 2011. Who should be included in the bridal “meal” and who should not? There are some wedding vendors who are only there for a couple of hours and others who are there with you the whole day. So how do you determine who gets to dine with you on your wedding day? We will share some of our experiences from the dreaded “vendor meal” that some reception facilities serve to the luxury of having your own side room to relax and take in an awesome dinner with the other vendors of the day.
